Dahlia Johnson

Dahlia Johnson will be working in the lab of Sean Ronnekleiv-Kelly. That Laboratory is interested in identifying cancer therapeutics for aggressive forms of cancer including Fibrolamellar cancer. They are also interested in understanding how different drugs pair together to enhance the cancer killing effect. This summer research project will focus on understanding the mechanism of specific drugs in treating the cancer cells, and how different drugs interact. Dahlia is working on developing cell culture techniques, drug treatment protocols, evaluations of cell viability, as well as describing the drug dose-response, and drug-drug interactions using high-throughput screening.
